  • Risk identification, audit and management.
    To create a realistic BCP, we must first identify potential significant risk to the business, understand the implications and impact, and plan to mitigate the risk.

  • Business process documentation.
    All core business processes at risk will be identified and fully documented. Documentation will be created in such a way to enable any staff member to act on it quickly and effectively.

  • Key staff mapping and documentation.
    Each business process recovery action will require a single (or team) staff member(s) to perform the appropriate tasks associated with it. A document containing names and all related contact information will be created to map each business process recovery action to the correct member(s) of staff. This will include staff substitution details down to an appropriate level.

  • Core system identification
    Based on the critical business areas, the associated core IT systems will be identified and ranked in order of priority. A strategy can then be developed to maintain availability after a disruptive event.

  • BCP Report
    The complete Business Continuity Plan will be documented detailing key business areas, associated core systems and business processes, and required staffing. All elements of recovery from identified potential business interruptions will be included in the document.

    A basic dry-run test of the BCP will be performed.

  • Annual subscription update
    An annual update will be performed to reflect changes in the business and ensure continuous improvement is achieved

  • Annual BCP scenario test.
    This will involve a nominated business interruption scenario to be physically tested at a random time during the year.

  • Off-site supplies storage
    In the event of local supplier problems, secure off-site storage for key supplies can be arranged. This can include items such as pre-printed stationery, custom forms, computer consumables, specialist computer equipment. This approach helps expedite recovery, which lowers the risk of reduced service levels to your customers.

  • Remote office provisioning
    In the event of failure to continue operating at your normal place of work, Phoenix BCP can arrange alternative office provisioning enabling critical business functions to continue as quickly as possible and reduce the risk of incurring heavy losses.

  • Critical server co-location
    Critical servers can be co-located to ensure absolute minimum down-time in core computer systems in the event of business interruption. The servers will be managed and maintained by Phoenix BCP to make sure service levels are met.

  • Emergency resourcing
    In the event of a loss of office premises, in conjunction with our co-location partners, we can provide emergency office facilities for your DMU within the period defined in your SLA. For loss of manufacturing capability, as part of your Phoenix Gold BCP solution we can even help identify potential sub contractors to manufacturing capacity to help you through your difficulties.

  • Full service level agreement
    As part of our Phoenix Gold service solution, Phoenix BCP enters into a detailed customer-specific SLA for Business Continuity Planning services (which can include off-site hosting and storage or other resources, depending on the agreement) which outlines the terms of the service, service levels, measurements, reporting, parties responsibilities, and details on when service review meetings are taking place.

  • Multi-site operation UK and Europe.
    This will include the main HQ and up to three remote UK based sites and up to one European site.
