Who would have thought it?
Families, students,
business people – all hopping on planes to get to
their destinations as quickly and as efficiently as
possible, not really considering the possibility of
being stranded in their destination. However, the
recent events of volcanic eruptions in Iceland has
seen an unprecedented disruption air traffic as
never seen before.

In 2007 the UK suffered from
widespread flooding, and in some areas, dangerous
flash-flooding that required people to be air-lifted to
safety. Whilst the main area of concern was the personal
safety of individuals, many businesses were dramatically
and catastrophically affected from these events.
